A 3D printing company is the newest tenant at York College of Pennsylvania’s J.D. Brown Center for Entrepreneurship.

Lehr Labs is led by two York College mechanical engineering graduates – Evan Lehr (2021) and Marcos Rivera (2020). The company moved into the J.D. Brown Center for Entrepreneurship in November.

“The J.D. Brown Center provides the additional room we need to expand our business without the prohibitive market costs and puts us in close proximity to collaborative partners,” Lehr said.

The J.D. Brown Center is located on York College’s north campus between the Codorus Creek and Rail Trail.

“Lehr Labs has taken their passion and turned it into a viable and growing business,” Oscar Winters, executive director of the J.D. Brown Center, said in a news release. “As they onboard new equipment and capabilities, they’ve utilized the resources offered by York College to become part of our ecosystem, giving current students the opportunity to learn and grow with them.”

The company was launched as a home-based business in 2021.

York College of Pennsylvania is located in Spring Garden Township, York County, and has more than 3,500 undergraduate and graduate students.
